Training and development
Great opportunities at McDonald’s come with training to match. Every year, we invest over £43 million in developing our people. Every one of the 110,000 employees working for McDonald’s has the opportunity to take part in structured training, whether it’s in customer service, team work or financial management. Plus, you can achieve an array of qualifications with us, many of them nationally recognised.
Work full-time and you'll receive 28 days' holiday a year. Work part-time and your holiday will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Discounts at major high-street retailers
You'll receive discounts at over 800 national retailers. You'll also receive a personalised card which gives you discounts on selected McDonald's food.
If you're eligible you'll be automatically enrolled into our pension scheme with NEST.
Childcare vouchers scheme
If you’re a parent or legal guardian, you could be entitled to Childcare Vouchers.
We'll review your performance three times during your first year, and every six months from then on. Your pay will be reviewed annually based on these reviews.
We know that a good work/life balance is vital, so we offer a flexible approach to scheduling. You can make informal flexible working requests via our online platform.
We celebrate continuous service by awarding you with retail gift vouchers – £75 for 5 years’ service, all the way up to £1,000 for 30 years’ service.
