[00:01] My name is Chelsea. I have

[00:03] worked here for three years and my role

[00:06] is crew member.

[00:08] Back when I started at McDonald's, I was

[00:11] very quiet very withdrawn very within myself. I'm pretty

[00:14] much sprouted into who I am today. On shift

[00:17] I'm very much an energetic, jokey person. Like

[00:20]I will use you have a laugh. I feel like I've been supported and valued

[00:23] by people on shift. There's always gratitude going around.

[00:27] And there's always there's always that support there as

[00:30] well as you're doing the role.

[00:32] Yeah, best thing the people, the customers.

[00:36] Flexibility around what days you can't work, what days you can work.

[00:39] Being able to do things with people in store like arranging to

[00:42] maybe meet out and go the other places and just really having that

[00:45] connection within the crew

[00:48] at your store.

[00:50] It's a very lovely thing to have.

[00:52] I still have people that I talk to today that have left the store and

[00:55] move on to different jobs for that that friendship stays there.

[00:01] My name is Akeem. I've worked

[00:03] at McDonald's for about five and a half years and currently a shift manager. So my

[00:06] role as a shift manager is making sure quality

[00:09] service and cleanliness are at the

[00:12] highest standards it can be while I'm in the restaurant. I'm making sure all

[00:15] the customers that I've connected on that day have had

[00:18] a great visit. So I'd say a typical day as a shift manager

[00:21] is walking in greeting all your

[00:24] staff members, then doing a store walk around.

[00:27] So you start from the outside of the restaurant you'd work

[00:30] all the way inside and making sure you always viewing it from a customers

[00:33] point of view and seeing what they want to see. I'll say

[00:37] how McDonald's has supported me. It's just they always give you the opportunity to

[00:40] develop and progress. They've got such a good training program

[00:43] to become a shift manager. There's amazing training for

[00:46] whatever you want to do McDonald's.

[00:49] So I'll say how McDonald's supported me throughout my studies

[00:52] is they're always very flexible with their approach. So at work I've received

[00:55] the employee of the year award because of all the hard work I did

[00:55] for that year and it's just nice to see that McDonald's shows like

[00:58] support and appreciates all the hard

[01:02] work you do in the restaurants. I'd say my favorite thing about working at McDonald's

[01:05] is the people that I work with like such a diverse

[01:12] and just a great bunch of

[01:15] people. It just makes the job so much easier. I think

[01:18] McDonald's has helped me to help develop as a person. It's kind of made me a lot

[01:21] more confident because obviously they've trusted me to be a shift manager

[01:24] and they've given me that sense of responsibility.

[00:01]Hi, my name is Leslie. I'm a CEL at McDonald's to

[00:03]be a good customer experience leader. I think you need to have a really

[00:06]happy disposition and be willing to get stuck in

[00:09]and be part of a good team. My role at McDonald's is meeting

[00:12]and greeting the customers making sure

[00:15]that they've got a really good experience when they walk

[00:18]through the door. I enjoy talking to the customers. That's what I love about

[00:21]my job at McDonald's, making sure everybody's happy getting

[00:24]what they want. I like working with the staff.

[00:27]We're all different ages. We have a really good team spirit.

[00:30]We all get on really well. My role

[00:33]at McDonald's is slightly different than the crew members because

[00:36]as customer experience leaders, we need to step up

[00:39]and make sure that the restaurant is ready for the customers and

[00:42]make sure everybody's happy. I wouldn't go back to any other

[00:45]role now that I'm at McDonald's doing the job I do I just

[00:48]love it.
